HOSPITALITY PROFESSIONAL
I’m originally from the beautiful southern state of Kerala, India, a place that taught me to appreciate nature, people, and the value of hard work. My academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology, reflecting my early interest in research and exploration, but along the way, I realized that my real passion lies in hospitality and tourism in creating experiences that make people feel welcome.
I began my career as a home tutor, helping young students learn with patience and empathy, and later worked as a travel consultant, where I discovered the joy of assisting others to explore the world. Moving to Canada to study Tourism Destination Development opened new growth opportunities. I currently work as a Housekeeper, and my Co-op as a Housekeeping Supervisor taught me how teamwork, leadership, and attention to detail come together to create great guest experiences.
Alongside that, I work with FedEx as a Package Handler, where I have strengthened my organizational and time management skills. My goal is to become a successful hospitality professional within the next five years, building on my academic background, practical experience, and genuine passion for service to make a meaningful impact in the tourism and hotel industry.
